Providing immigration advice
Remember that as an employer, you cannot legally provide immigration advice unless you are licensed by the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) or exempt of licensing (as is the case for New Zealand lawyers for instance).
What type of visa for my staff?
Depending on the applicant and the employers’ profile, we would most likely apply for an Accredited Employer Work Visa. This visa allows to work for an accredited employer, if you have a job offer from an accredited employer. Some migrants already in New Zealand may qualify for other visas or already have open work rights.
Can I get pre-approved to hire migrants?
Since May 2022, it is mandatory to become accredited with Immigration New Zealand before you can offer a role to a migrant in order for them to seek a work visa. Become an Accredited Employer in New Zealand, and get the skills you need from a global pool of talents.
