Charlotte from the New Zealand Shores team went and hiked the Tongariro Crossing in the Tongariro National Park over the long weekend. Check out the photos she took along the way. The Tongariro National Park is a World Heritage Site with dual status and has been acknowledged for its natural and cultural significance. The crossing is one of New Zealand’s most popular day hikes and crosses over the multi cratered Mount Tongariro and passes next to the base of Mount Ngauruhoe.
