No sign of NZ skill shortage slowing down
With more jobs being offered in New Zealand and an historically-low unemployment level, getting a job in New Zealand should prove easier than it has been in the past. But employment website Seek.co.nz is also noting an increased competition for talents across the country.
Seeks gives a snapshot of salary and employment trends all over New Zealand, and the areas where you are most likely to find employment.
Annual job growth was observed in all regions but Canterbury. Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay have been recording high levels of advertising relative to the past five years, and this growth has been uninterrupted in the last 4 months.
