New Zealand Shores Success Stories
It was the best decision for us as a family
Challenges
The most challenging part of the immigration process was dealing with SA home affairs to obtain our birth certificates and timing our Police Clearance Certificates and Visas accurately.
NZ Shores advisers
My advisor was Clintivene Sechel. She is amazing, she has always treated us with kindness, respect and patience throughout the entire process, even when I was very stressed, unreasonable and my questions were many.
Impressions
My first impression of NZ was that this country is safe, clean and absolutely stunning!
What I miss from home
We miss Biltong the most - fortunately there are so many SA shops across NZ that cover all our needs. Shopping online is so easy here.
My advice to other migrants
My advice if you'd like to emigrate is to trust God in the process, follow advice from your advisor. They are highly qualified and deal with various cases dailey. Know that you are not alone and don't forget to breathe.
One thing I wish I knew
One thing I wish I knew before I moved to NZ was how excessive the children use swear words in School and just how much I would miss visiting our National Parks to see the Big 5 and other wildlife - here they call birds wildlife.
We stand firm that it was the best decision for us as a family to immigrate to NZ, we could never swap the beauty, safety and opportunities we have here for anything back home.
