New Zealand Shores Success Stories
A one-of-a-kind country!
Challenges
I had to frequently travel to India to meet my partner and spend time with my family, in late 2019 we had the good news that my partner was pregnant and by the I moved to Auckland on an Accredited Employer Work Visa on which I could have supported my partner with a Partnership Work Visa. That’s when Covid was spreading around and the country had to go on a lockdown, which was a tough time because we were expecting our child by September and unfortunately, I couldn’t be close to my partner. The lockdown was eventually lifted and by the Government of New Zealand had introduced the One-Off Residency Visa in 2021, on which I had satisfied the criteria.
NZ Shores advisers
Mr. Fabien Maisonneuve, Immigration Adviser who had handled my One-Off Resident Visa application and it was processed as a family visa application, on which I had included my partner and my kid. But the tricky part came while the application had been processed is the living together criteria which had not satisfied us as partners. Mr. Fabien had helped me with the living together criteria by convincing the Immigration New Zealand that our relationship is genuine based on the evidence I had provided him. In spite of giving all the evidence Immigration New Zealand wasn’t fully satisfied with our application. Due to this uncertain situation on the resident visa application, I had brought my partner and my kid on a General Visitor Visa to NZ through New Zealand Shores. Mr. Fabien, consistently worked on this case by regularly assisting in proving that our relationship is genuine, as a result my partner’s application would be approved if we were able to show the living together criteria be satisfied while she is residing with me in NZ.
As soon as the timeframe required by the Immigration New Zealand to prove our partnership is genuine was satisfied my partner’s application was approved. Thanks to New Zealand Shores, for supporting my resident visa application from the start to the end by being in constant touch with me and I have to mention my special thanks to Mr. Fabien Maisonneuve.
Impressions
Before moving to NZ, I was working in the Middle East where the weather is harsh, and the quality of life was just up to par. But, moving to NZ I find life more exciting and beautiful as this is a one-of-a-kind country and I also believe that the future of my kid will be well if we continue to live here.
