What we’re after

We are looking for a candidates with sound technical knowledge of power networks and local network systems, procedures and standards. Experience in both HV and LV would be preferred.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to cope with the physical demands of the role, an excellent attendance and safety record and a clean NZ driver’s licence.

You will enjoy working on a mix of rural and urban projects. Work is predominantly in the Otago region   although some out of region  projects will be required.

You will also need

  • EWRB Current NZ electrical licence or the least a Ltd license will be conceded.
  • Construction and Maintenance of HV equipment
  • Maintenance, Repairs and  New Build
  • Previous Substation and transformer experience with regards to maintenance, repair and new build construction
